Offshore constructions Since 1995 Bumaco is active as pipe supplier for on- en offshore constructions in the oil- and gas industry. This segment is asking for seamless and welded pipes in API 5L grade X52 and X65.Modified. Due to the high requirements of many customers (more than the requirements for this standard) we developed own specifications, which fulfil a lot of this extra requirements. The seamless pipes according to SMLS-01 are normalised (N) and in a lot of cases they are also upgraded (Q&T). These pipes are always 100% US tested, with hardness according to NACE and an impact test at -50°C. The welded pipes are longitudinal, submerged arc welded pipes. All welds are 100% US tested and the parent material as well as the weld and HAZ (heat affected zone) are mechanical tested. An impact test is done at -40°C. And it goes without saying that this pipes, ranging in diameter from 2” (ø 60,3 mm) up to and including 40” (ø 1016 mm), are always including EN10204 – 3.2 Lloyds certificate.
